Dr Figglehorn
Dr Figglehorn is a noted alchemist from the 18th century. He is most well known for holding an immense talent for ancient magic, as well as a binding curse for immortality.
History
Doctor Auralius Peveral Figglehorn was born on February 17th 1732 in Scotland to Peveral Charles Figglehorn and Elizabeth Mabel, Figglehorn exhibited a connection to ancient power which was inherited from his father. The extent of Figglehorn's abilities remained largely unknown until his later years.
Cursed Blood
Figglehorn often engaged in battles with omens that would threaten the peace and sanctuary of his village. He found himself in a battle against a series of dark omens that held great power. While his efforts proved to be victorious, his triumph came at a cost. The dark forces that he had fought against cursed his very blood, rendering him immortal. The "gift" of immortality would cause his body to age and decay while death remained forever out of reach.
Family
Despite the burden of his condition, Figglehorn attempted to live a semblance of a normal life. He married Elanor Wood, with who he fathered a son, Alexander Figglehorn. His family remained fascinated yet horrified at the blood curse that he bore. Generations passed by Figglehorn, watching his loved ones wither away as he remained powerless to prevent it.
Escaping Death
As centuries passed and his original body deteriorated, Figglehorn discovered a solution to his predicament: the ability to transfer his soul into the body of another. This possession was not through malice, but survival instinct. Throughout the years, Figglehorn took residence within a number of individuals, more recent noted beings include Angela Ziegler and Jameson Fawkes. His consciousness could meld with theirs, but his presence was often fleeting as the nature of his curse rejected permanence in any vessel. Figglehorn's powers were, and continue to be, a diluted shell of what they once were in his prime.
